H. Peter Heinemann, CA

Partner

Peter began his executive search career in 1988 when he co-founded Barrett Rose & Lee. Prior to that he had gained extensive senior management experience in the software industry, and in public accounting. He has devoted considerable attention to providing counsel to executives and working with clients to rebuild corporate management teams and fill senior staff specialist positions in a variety of industries, both public and private.

His experience includes software, manufacturing, technology, utilities, communications, publishing, and, as well as professional service firms. Increasingly, Peter’s practice has focused on identifying and recruiting executives in the fields of marketing and sales, human resources, communications, strategic planning, and finance, as well as general managers to manage significant change initiatives for large and emerging businesses.

Peter is a graduate of Wilfrid Laurier University, where he gained an Honours in Business Administration and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario. He has been an officer and a member of the Board of Directors of a number of civic organizations, as well as several private companies.

Renee Heinemann

Senior Consultant

Renee joined Barrett Rose & Lee in 2011 and with in-depth experience, beyond her years in managing successful client and candidate partnerships. She consistently delivers on her service promises to candidates and clients alike. Renee helps clients build high performance leadership teams by recruiting outstanding individuals from both Canada and the United States. Her areas of specialties include Application Software Sales, Pre-sales, Marketing and Professional Services. Renee has developed relationships with senior leaders throughout the tech industry and is recognized for her ability to working successfully with high growth, entrepreneurial organizations.

Previously, Renee spent her early career in various Marketing roles with a media boutique, producing inspiring, celebratory publications and conferences, profiling significant Senior Executive Women nationally.She gained early exposure working with the C-level executives, as well as corporate experience in marketing, communications and national event management.

After graduating from Wilfrid Laurier University with a BA in Communications, she traveled to Australia to obtain her Masters in Professional Communication from University of Western Sydney. She is active in several non-profit and professional organizations such as the Stephen Leacock Foundation, The Jay’s Care Foundation, the Boulevard Club and the Toronto 2015 Pan Am Games.
